The Chevrolet LS engines are finally ready to slide into the newer generation BMW chassis.
LS swaps have been a staple of the BMW 3 series community (love it or hate it) for two decades, creating a cult following in the E36 and E46 chassis. That momentum was carried into the E90 and now, finally available for the F series cars offering a combination of stylish, sporty elegance and raw American power!
Our kits fit X-Drive front subframes with any factory engine option.
Why use X-Drive subframe? Two main reasons. One, the shape of the subframe allows for many oil pan options without modification and two, the possibility of utilizing an AWD setup with the LS. If you are only interested in RWD, the subframe being X-Drive specific has no bearing, just remove the front axles and you are good to go.
*These mounts were designed using a PMC Motorsports adapter kit which allows a stock BMW transmission to be mated to the LS. Using their adapter, the factory BMW transmission mount and driveshaft will work with the LS.
*Our mounts can be used with any transmission combination but you may need to make a transmission mount and driveshaft depending on what you plan to use.
These arms utilize the factory BMW engine mount isolator.
