Do you have a BMW 7 speed DCT?
If you like to drive it in any sporty manner then you need to overfill the fluid. Starvation is a major issue, especially if you've had the pump pressure turned up. The factory fluid fill process has you pump fluid into the fill hole while the engine is running until it comes out the same hole and then close it up.
In performance applications it is recommended to run it 1 quart over full. This extra fluid keeps temps down and keeps the pumps primed and flowing properly.
Unless you put the car over on its side, it is a bit tricky to continue filling it while fluid is pouring out.
To resolve this issue we offer Bimmerworld's DCT Overfill / Dry Break Kit which allows you to connect your fill pump to the supplied fittings and add the extra fluid you need. Once finished you unhook the quick disconnect and no mess!
